Whirligig Illuminators – These are little wind-up flying lanterns that use a screw propeller to stay aloft. They were deliberately made of clockwork so they would be safe to use around gunpowder. They can be programmed with simple directional commands but can’t go very fast and it requires a Weird Science roll to program them correctly. Each will work for one hour but it takes a full five minutes to wind each of them up enough to work that long. They give the equivalent light of a lantern for a medium blast template. They can travel at most 100’ away from their launch point and return. They typically fly at 10’ above the ground but have enough lift to climb to 20’. (Note: Need to work out physical stats for possible attacks on them). They make an obvious clockwork noise while in operation.

The Googlesprocket Personal Ability Triplicator (GPAT) – This appears to be a exoskeleton with a skull cap attached on which Ratchet insists on wearing a hat. The device enhances a physical or mental Attribute by one die on a normal success or two die on a raise. It requires a Weird science roll and a round to program the correct attribute into the control pad on the right arm. The device is solar powered and requires an hour in sunlight to recharge its power points. The device makes a audible hum when turned on. The only version currently available is sized for a 4" tall person.

Technospectral Perception Obliterator – This is a rod like device that has a collection of revolving lenses and lights at the one end. There is an activation button on the haft. When activated, the device sprays stropping lights and colours in all directions. If held in front of him, the effect has a 120 degree arc. If held above his head then the effect is 360 degrees. Creature with vision caught in the area of effect must make an Agility roll at -2 to avert their gaze in time (-4 if there is a raise on activation). Failure results in the target suffering a -2 on Parry for one round. If the target rolls a 1 on his Agility dice (regardless of wild dice) then the target is blinded and suffers the Shaken condition. He is at -6 penalty on all trait rolls requiring vision and his parry is reduce to 2. This effect last until the target recovers from being shaken. Ratchet has a set of goggles that make him immune to the effects.

Additional Effects – 2 Power – single target, 4 Power – Medium blast template, 6 Power – Large blast template.
